Our 3 year strategic and impact goal is to provide
1 million Black women, and other women of color
with mental health tools and support by 2026.
To accomplish this goal, we will:
Design and manage digital platform mobile app to provide mental health resources and useful tools,
Develop the HER Cause, Inc. Ambassador Training Program to train women to identify and detect the signs of mental health illness; help women facilitate conversations about mental health, wellness, and well-being; teach women to promote and incorporate mental health practices into their sister circles and communities; recognize and understand the resources that the community of support has available around them,
Create and distribute our Mental Health Booklet and Tool Kit with pocket size resources for crisis management and mental health support,
Produce and tour Diagnosed, the play, and other art forms to use the arts as a platform to initiate conversations and break the stigma on mental health,
Broadcast monthly podcast episodes centered around mental health on HER Cause PODCAST,
Host a Mental Health Conference annually,
Organize an annual 5K Walk/Run Fundraiser, and
Endorse and uphold mental health public policies on the local and federal levels.
